Jim Lee unused Icons cover

Here is the second posting today, and unlike the Finch Batman piece, is as far away from my comfort zone as I get, but I enjoyed the experiment. Jim's pencils were pretty linear, and I decided to really play that angle up as change of pace. I have a love affair with strong blacks, but this piece is so dauntingly gray. Building shapes and values with line is not my strong suit, but I wanted to try it. It's all done with pen of course, and I would NEVER want a steady diet of this approach, it was worth a try from in getting way out of my comfort zone.
